Dr Ioannis Papadopoulos graduated from the Dental School of Athens in 2013 and then worked in the Military Hospital of Athens as part of his military training. Following that he worked in private practice gaining valuable experience in all aspects of restorative dentistry.
In 2015 he moved to London after being accepted for Specialist training in Prosthodontics at Barts & The London Institute of Dentistry. He completed his 3-year training in 2018 receiving his Doctor in Clinical Dentistry (DClinDent Prosthodontics) with distinction grade. On the same year, he successfully passed the Membership in Prosthodontics examination and is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
He is a Clinical Lecturer in Prosthodontics at Queen Mary University of London teaching dentists who are training to become specialists. He is also involved in foundation dentist teaching, lecturing for the London Deanery.
Ioannis attends national and international congresses regularly, keeping up to date with the latest evidence in Prosthodontics. He has published articles in peer-reviewed journals and has been awarded several prizes, including the British Society of Prosthodontics Oral Presentation Prize. He is an active member of the International Team for Implantology and the British Society of Prosthodontics.
He is experienced in all aspects of fixed and removable Prosthodontics, including restoration of damaged and missing teeth, dental implants, aesthetic, and digital dentistry. Feedback from his patients includes that his care of them is excellent and of the highest quality. Ioannis is friendly, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about his work.
